Once you've come across the profile you want, tap the user's Instagram profile picture. This will display the profile picture in a larger version, but it still may not be enlarged enough. This is where your smartphone's zoom gesture comes into play. Touch the profile picture with two fingers and spread them apart to zoom in. This gesture works similarly to zooming in images. If you want to save the enlarged profile picture, take a screenshot of it. To do this, press the volume down button and the power button (or the home button, depending on which smartphone you are using) at the same time. The enlarged image will be saved to your gallery.
